Its FusionBac backing gives this carpet a sturdy backing with a combination of a strong layer and thin felt layer that helps reduce scuff marks as you lay it. This type of backing is intended to be fitted over an underlay and using a quality underlay can help extend your carpet’s lifetime as well as adding more cushioning and insulation.
